Heat or steam will melt doors or delaminate the vinyl on low heat over time from a heat source like a kettle or pot of water.
The MDF will swell in thickness when exposed to steam.
The vinyl shrinks and the MDF will exposed as a result of direct heat.
When the vinyl protrudes out a convex position on any thermofoil surface that means there is a small heat source in close proximity. Some examples of heat sources are toaster ovens, toasters, self cleaning ovens, water kettles, fluorescent light/potlights and some coffee makers.
Dish detergent with degreaser and luke warm water. Example: Dawn, Palmolive.
